Writing about Running

A diary, mostly about running, by Aseem Vadehra

Routine – Come My Way

Back in Delhi, with jet lag, lack of sleep and a morning meeting, I missed the run today.

With a couple of weeks to go for the Delhi Half, I’m worrying about missing anything.

I’ve read the reassurances about a few missed runs not causing a loss in fitness but it doesn’t sit well with me. And from what I can tell – possibly with most runners.

With some commitments in the weeks ahead – both social and work – I will have to manage best I can – with some extra effort.

Routine. That wonderful world. At this point, I yearn for my routine.
