I am glad I have this driveway to run on although it can get a bit tiresome up and down. One would think I would be used to it after so many years – especially that it was my only refuge during the Covid times.
When the young boy said he would join me for about half the run, I was only too glad. A little chit chat in the dark, the cold wind against our faces. After a few rounds, the sky began to turn a pale grey-blue, then a hint of orange.
Towards the end, I picked up the pace and eventually finished a reasonable time on feet.
