Writing about Running

A diary, mostly about running, by Aseem Vadehra

On less sleep

After another night short of sleep, I went to track. The young boy wanted to go for intervals so I didn’t have the option to run later.

After a few rounds of warm up, I felt better. But perhaps seeing the young boy train in lane one, his legs flying down the front straight, the familiar movement of his body silhouetted against the glare of the stadium light, made the morning.

Meanwhile, Ashwini and I ran mostly in quietude, occasionally craning our necks to see the pace efforts in lane one.

As always, I was glad I made it out here.
