Writing about Running

A diary, mostly about running, by Aseem Vadehra

Once again I find myself in taper week. It was a short run, but I found myself at track, lane nine, running easy, noticing an obvious change in the weather.

A few rounds in, Ashwini, Monu, Khushboo, Coach Ravi and a few others joined me. Or rather did I join them? Is this their home more than mine?

I glanced over at my sister pushing intervals in lane one. The lady in the salwar kameez also seemed to be doing a hard workout. She sat panting on the track surface. A guy ambled in the outer lanes, weaving from one to the other listening to loud music.

Home to many.
