The sky was just turning in new colours as I stepped out. The east side that is. The west direction was dark. The air was yet crisp, cold but not bitter.
Later in the day, I saw a flower high up on a tree that waved in the wind. The sun was shining bright then and the earth was warm.
The run was simply an easy one. Shaking out the legs, keeping the taper week as it was meant to be. The race ahead seems daunting. This Sunday, I have to play it cool.
