This morning, unusual for recent Sunday’s, I didn’t have the young boy or Shikha for company.
I barely looked at the watch, just running free and easy. The kilometres went by, people watching, seeing regulars, familiar faces, groups, Sunday bonhomie in the air.
At the end, I completed my longest run for this summer. Later when I was asked what I was training for, I didn’t have a clear answer. Am I already training for the fall races of Delhi and Bombay? Perhaps. But I enjoy nothing more than training in itself.
