Writing about Running

A diary, mostly about running, by Aseem Vadehra

A late evening leads to the treadmill

Because I was out last night, I woke up thinking, rationalising between dream and awake states, when I could run today. Could I run after work at Sri Fort or Nehru Park? Should I come back early and try to run back at home?

But the decision was already made when I saw the time. I had to drag myself out of bed – or rather jump out now – and make it to the treadmill before it was too late.

And so I did and ran toggling the dials but trying to keep it easy. Although I didn’t find the rhythm and the patience of last week on the treadmill, I was nonetheless happy that I jumped out of bed and jumped on this and got my run out of the way.
