My coach Eilish has written that if the weather was horrendous, then to reduce the number of repeats.
Horrendous would be a benign way to describe the morning weather. I don’t think I have felt this hot – the loo blowing – the temperature already bearing down forty even this early in the morning.
Nearly all the kids took repetition breaks, lying wayward by the track. This made me feel worse as I trudged around the track, my feet, face and head burning.
When it was all done, we were all more than just relieved.
