Writing about Running

A diary, mostly about running, by Aseem Vadehra

Driveway Easy

Because the GPS on my driveway can be a bit iffy, I run here with the stopwatch. It’s kind of nice in that nothing beeps and even if you do look at the watch it’s just time elapsed.

Of course, after running for years, pace calculation happens near automatically but that’s not the point. It’s good to run free – the time elapsed is a matter of interest when I look at the watch occasionally or at the end of the run.

Nose breathing style was the way to run today – keeping the heart rate low – I wouldn’t really know – I don’t check – but it feels like that. At any rate, it makes for running at an easy pace.

I finished off with pull ups, the one exercise that is daunting and difficult all at once – at least for me.
