Writing about Running

A diary, mostly about running, by Aseem Vadehra

The Pyramid is Inverted

I had a tough pyramid workout today. When I reached track, it was too daunting building up to the apex, so I did the longest one first and got it out of the way.

After that it was longer-shorter alternately. One could say I made the pyramid into a hill-valley-hill workout that in my mind seems like the way kids draw a mountain range.

It felt like mountaineering even as Nikhil and Suryansh gave me some company.

The young boy was doing his own thing but he cheered me on every lap. The toughest mornings are also amongst the most endearing.
