Jeet is a quiet and serious young man. Today, he gave me company through the long interval session. It was relentless, hard and tough as nails.
But we both stayed with it. I could even call it fun. He’s normally much faster than I am, and I am thankful that he gave me company. I couldn’t have managed the paces without him.
For the last two kilometre interval, he raced on ahead and I couldn’t help but admiringly look at the way his legs kicked up that effortless, poetic stride.
At the end he said to me, Aise session laya karo bhaiya. Aaj maza aaya.
