Writing about Running

A diary, mostly about running, by Aseem Vadehra

Progression around the Track

It was good to be back at the stadium. Fist bumping Gaju and Coach Ravi. Waving to the kids. Seeing all manner of training around.

Gaju and I started in lane nine and set off for a progression run from easy to marathon pace over a short half hour. Doing a progressively faster run on the road feels natural, here I wasn’t too sure. Perhaps I wasn’t used to it.

The light has started coming up earlier now. When I was driving back the sky began changing its colours. The temperature is warmer.

Back home, I did a short workout and that was it for today before heading out the door.
