Writing about Running

A diary, mostly about running, by Aseem Vadehra

300s in the Inner Lane

The inner lane of Shanti Path that abuts the German, Japanese, Pakistani and other embassies is very quiet.

And especially this time in the morning, there was practically no traffic other than the usual smattering of security guards who by now are surely used to seeing all manner of runners in these environs.

It was 300 repetitions for me and I did half of them up and down in a quiet section of that inner lane. Then I circled around and a bit of back and forth to finish up these heart in the mouth repeats.

I am so grateful to be out here again.
