This morning I met my man Gaju at Nehru Park for one kilometre repeats followed by a tempo run. I slept late last night and wasn’t sure how it would go down.
The air remains slightly cool. I, for one, feel cold on my forearms, on the side, near the elbow. That all was forgotten within the first repeat itself. The repeats were a few seconds slower than I would have expected but all the same, not too shabby.
The tempo was faster than expected so that balanced it out quite nicely plus I learnt a new route that got me to six kilometres and finished just ahead of the car.
One day I would like to work out the statistical possibilities of the routes in Nehru Park. I am sure ChatGPT could do that but I would be loathe to use AI for such purpose. It would be so much more fun to do it the old fashioned way.
Back home, a solid workout rounded up a special morning.
