20k Redemption as the World Record is Shattered

Went to Nehru Park on Sunday after ages. Or it certainly seems like that. When I got there, the park was already packed. Plenty of familiar faces all around. I didn’t know what to expect since I haven’t done a reasonable long run in quite a while.

It went fine except that it is getting super hot and I had to douse myself with water several times.

Meanwhile, at the London marathon, the women’s world record is shattered and so is the men’s with TWO runners under two hours. I mean … what.

That’s less than 68 seconds per 400m on the track. What.

For a marathon. What.
