39 degrees – late afternoon

I missed the morning run but I really did not want to notch up a red. So I called the trusty Coach Ravi and Gaju and asked them if afternoon would work. Yes, came a prompt encouraging response.

Off I went to Gurgaon in the afternoon after the work morning. It was blazing 39 degrees and the track was bathed in the scorching sun. Alas the only spots of shade were in the last lanes.

Good lord it was difficult. How difficult even short workouts can be. Well. It’s in the bank now.
