Writing about Running

A diary, mostly about running, by Aseem Vadehra

Shikha, Young Boy

As I was approaching the parking, I saw Shikha running down Niti Marg. Of all the runners already here this early morning, she stood out.

I looped around counter clockwise to meet her. We ran steadily for the next hour and half approximately barely exchanging a word and increasing the pace gently.

Back at the car, I met the young boy for a quick five leaving me to do a one point five at the end, to close out long run Sunday.

Later in the afternoon after some excitement involving the young girl’s injury, I fell into a deep slumber.
