It was pure chance and coincidence that I stepped out of my room when I did. I had decided to skip the trek owing to my health.
But I saw some of the folks of our group bounding back to their rooms to collect whatever it is that they had forgotten. Walking a few more steps, I saw the whole group still assembling for their departure.
Come, they said. If there was any calling and chance that came together in recent memory, it was this.

We raced down.
In the afternoon, it was back to my Clarissa. At several points, I had to pause.

I worked out not quite lazily but not swiftly in the hotel gym. Wedge shaped, a few treadmills, a multi-gym, a weight rack and me.

Rest today.

When I finished the first part of my run, I was already done. But the young boy was here and we set out for the rest. After one loop, we were getting done. At the end of the second loop we took a water break. After running another 500m, the young boy said he was done. So was I. So done. Nonetheless, a good run.
