I caught up on sleep after ages. Woke up and hit the driveway for a very easy run. Rounded it up with a core workout that always makes me very hungry later in the day.

Begin the week.
-
Now that’s what I call a superb run. Nowhere close to a PB but just got stronger and stronger through the run.
I couldn’t be more thankful to Gaju for keeping me company.
The best surprise was Coach Ravi who came to the start line and gave me a gift at the finish.
Runners are my world. Ever grateful to the track, to the roads, to the people for the opportunity.

What better than to wake up and go to Nehru Park with the young boy.
It was a lovely birthday morning with chit chat easy peasy run with a bit of pace at the end.
Back home, it was Belgian waffles – literally dessert for breakfast.
-
Took it easy today. Long meetings at work.
-
Met Gaju this morning again. Tempo effort at Nehru Park. No prescribed pace but slower than last week. Ran at 7-8 RPE and wanted to keep it at that.
Gorgeous weather. Light rain. Springtime.
-
The weather was cool. Gaju and I met at dawn and set off on a short warm up before the 800s began. On one hand they were endless, but on the other hand, they were fun to do with Gaju although he looked swiped towards the end. All done and back home for a solid workout.
-
Again slept very little. But I had made a plan with my friend Maneesh who was over from Kathmandu.
I met him at the usual chai point on golf course road that has since been replaced with a Chayoos. We ran very easy, chatting throughout., watching the sky turn colours to a cool dawn morning.
A strong chai and more conversation made for a lovely start to Tuesday.
Later, a solid core workout before leaving for the day.
-
After hardly any sleep, I hit work. But it was a rest day.
-
I ran fairly easy with Gaju. When the young boy came, we ran faster. It was a gorgeous morning and perfect weather.
On the way home, we played our music game alternating songs. A solid beginning to Sunday morning.
